Jerry Jarvis

Jerry Jarvis is the Director of Information Technology for Elko & Associates Ltd, and also heads up Elko’s Modus IT Consulting division, the premier provider of IT solutions for small to medium sized businesses. Jerry fervently looks for and implements appropriate technology that solves business problems -- both internally and for his clients. He carefully understands and aligns business goals with costs, and engineers solutions that help accomplish more, with less.

Jerry joined Elko in 2001 and immediately began implementing IT solutions with the goal of providing the business with more capabilities than ever before. Under Jerry’s direction, he has moved the firm from an old Novell environment to a Microsoft environment, implementing such technologies as Exchange, Citrix and virtualizing Elko’s server environment. All client data is now stored in a secure data center, which allows the Elko staff to service clients anywhere, anytime. The outstanding IT success achieved internally has set the stage for implementing IT success for Elko’s clients.

Prior to joining Elko & Associates, Jerry worked for several Philadelphia based IT Integrators and was responsible for many Exchange server, Sql server, Citrix and windows server upgrades and implementations.

Jerry grew up in Brighton, England. His work as a Development Engineer for Scientific Instrumentation Company required a great deal of world travel, which lead him ultimately to settle in Pennsylvania. He currently lives in Merion Station with his wife Lisa and two children. Jerry is an ardent fan of various genres of music and is an avid cyclist.
