Bio
Steve began working with Elko & Associates Ltd in 1996 as an intern. Over the past 12 years with the firm, Steve has worked his way up from an intern to the level of Director. Steve is part of the accounting and auditing department focusing on manufacturers, distributors and service companies. He enjoys teaching his staff and takes pleasure in helping them learn different aspects of accounting.
Steve is a member of the Planning Committee that is charged with developing the firm’s strategic plan as well as various other firm committees and task forces with the responsibility to develop internal policies and procedures for new techniques and technology. He enjoys working closely with his clients and has assisted many clients in advising them on technical tax and accounting issues. Recently, Steve has been involved with an audit of a client that acquired five companies in an acquisition with venture equity and debt financing.
Steve credits his parents with instilling him with a great work ethic that has allowed him to be successful in his career. Steve grew up in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania and currently resides with his wife, Lisa, in Worcester, Pennsylvania. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as playing golf and enjoying sports.
