Bio
Roni joined Elko & Associates Ltd in 1992. She plays an integral role in the management of the firm as a Director and Practice Area Leader of the Accounting and Auditing Department as well as the niche leader of the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan audit practice. Roni’s 16 years in public accounting and additional 11 years in private industry generate the experience she brings to her clients. Other specialized areas of Roni’s expertise include retail, not-for-profit entities, and service industries.
Active on several internal committees including planning and technology, Roni has helped carve policy and procedure for strategic plans and marketing initiatives. She works with the audit staff to improve internal process and maximize efficiency through the use of technology in the “paperless engagement” including use of data-extraction software. Responsible for training and a mentor to junior staff, Roni works side-by side to impart her knowledge and share her experience.
Roni’s greatest challenge and valued success is assisting clients eager to grow together, work hard and tirelessly to achieve their goals. Past rewards have been aiding a smaller company in their quest to expand and seeing their efforts unfold, much like Elko & Associates Ltd, to aspire to the company we are today.
A leader not only in her work, but in her personal life, Roni shares her experiences and offers guidance in civic, athletic and business organizations. Honoring commitments is her mantra. She supports that daily and shares that lesson with her own family. Enjoying the activities of her children, Roni is an active parent in the community. Residing in Delaware County she is seen on the sidelines at sporting events. She enjoys spending time with her family in her free time.
