Debbie joined Elko & Associates Ltd in 1986. As a Director and Practice Area Leader of the Emerging Businesses department, she provides extensive accounting, financial, computer and tax services for privately held companies and individual clients. Prior to Debbie's decision to work in public accounting, she spent several years in the insurance and manufacturing industries. She has had the opportunity to incorporate this experience while working with many of her current clients.

Debbie has also taken a leadership role within the firm. She has been involved with the Technology Committee since its inception and has played a key role in transitioning the firm to a paperless environment. Debbie has also worked on the Planning Committee, helping to develop the firm's strategic plan.

Debbie's public accounting career began with Elko as a staff accountant. She has risen through the ranks to become a Director. Debbie utilizes the knowledge she has gained in her twenty plus years of professional experience to provide excellent service in the areas of business consulting, attestation and tax compliance, and the specialized services provided to closely held and emerging businesses.

In her current position, Debbie enjoys assisting her clients with their growing needs whether it is tax planning, computer training, succession planning or traditional accounting services. Recently, she helped a client perpetuate their business and successfully transition to the second generation while minimizing estate taxes.

Debbie and her husband, Dennis, currently reside in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania. Debbie grew up in Chester prior to moving to Boothwyn. She attributes her success in part to her mentors over the years as they have guided her in her professional and personal life. In her time away from the office Debbie enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
