Mike joined Elko & Associates Ltd in 1986. As president of the firm, he manages the practice and takes stewardship for the firm's technology initiatives. Over a 25-year period, he and the Elko staff have developed a business process that allows them to maximize the use of technology in their business and consult with their clients on these issues. He also serves as a director in the accounting and auditing department. His specialties include manufacturing and distribution, IT technology and communication, TV and film production, legal and professional services, insurance and risk management, and retail grocery industries.

Prior to joining Elko, Mike began his career in Houston in 1977 working for Exxon. Two years later he joined the accounting firm of Andrew Shebay & Company. In 1986, he moved back to New Jersey and began his successful tenure at Elko & Associates Ltd. Mike credits his parents' influence and his interest in business for his decision to pursue a career in accounting.

Throughout his time at Elko, Mike has maintained an active role in some of the firm's most challenging client projects. His experiences include: assisting in the reorganization of a number of law firms, serving as a mediator in de-merger situations, and participating in succession planning for a variety of clients. Throughout his engagements, he strives to enable his clients to make informed decisions, having the confidence to take well-calculated risks. His commitment to providing outstanding customer service is one of his defining traits, and he has influenced the firm as a whole to have the same dedication to each and every client.

Mike grew up in southern New Jersey. He and his wife, Debbie, have three children. He currently resides in Gibbstown, New Jersey. When away from the office, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
