Bio

Greg began working with Elko & Associates Ltd in 1983. As the Director responsible for the construction and real estate practice area, Greg gets involved with financial and tax planning for the firm’s construction clients. In addition, because of his broad expertise and experience, Greg assists clients with auditing, financial planning, management consulting services, wealth management planning, and merger and acquisition planning. Greg also serves on the Elko & Associates Ltd Executive Committee.

Before joining Elko & Associates, Ltd., Greg worked with Touche Ross & Company for 4 years. While there, he was certified after passing the CPA exam on the first sitting. With over 25 years of experience, Greg has had a successful history in applying his skills to produce measurable results for his clients. Recently, he was involved in successfully settling an IRS tax liability in excess of $600,000. Because of his efforts, the individuals he represented were held responsible for only about $90,000. In another recent engagement, Greg provided expertise in negotiating the sale of a physician's medical practice, which resulted in a payment to the physician both on the sale and the subsequent reacquisition.

Greg's decision to become an accountant was driven by his desire to apply his skills towards helping others and ultimately enabling them to preserve their wealth. He was greatly influenced by his mentors throughout college and in the beginning of his professional career; however, his greatest source of inspiration is his parents, to whom he attributes his solid work ethic.

While at Elko, Greg's commitment to professional development and excellent client service are constantly shaped through the influence of his partners. In particular, former Director Mike Reinking has served as a role model by helping Greg grow and develop as a professional service provider.

Greg was born, raised, and attended college in South Philadelphia. He earned degrees from both Villanova University and Drexel University. The beach is a favorite weekend destination for Greg, where he enjoys swimming and surfing. In his spare time away from the office, his interests include golf and music.
